Could some folks share some feedback on how well these 2 products run on
Windows XP 64.
Thanks

You can download OpenOffice.org and test for free for yourself. I know it
installs and runs (under WOW64) like almost all apps.

I have run both OpenOffice 1.9.xxx and StarOffice8 (the beta version)
with no problem. OpenOffice with the 1.9.122version seems to have fixed
the problem with the database crashing on a regular basis. StarOffice
is supposed to be releasing its new StarOffice8 on September 12. I have
even had some success dictating with Dragon NaturallySpeaking into them.

I guess if Star Office and Open Office runs on x64, that means Microsoft
Office 97 users have nothing to worry about when it comes to Windows x64.
