You need to check with the software author.

You may need to ask the software vendor if it runs on x64. Certainly, x64
will not solve any problem that would prevent the program from running on XP
SP2.

Thats gonna be difficult to determine, the best way to find out is to
contact the software publisher to find out if it is supported on Windows
x64. Also, certain applications that are 32 bit may use a 16 bit installer
which is not supported on Windows x64.

Your first course of action should be to contact the company that makes
the dictionary. Or use Google.

Does this information relate to your problem?

There are a number of free dictionaries that work on x64. Try a search on
dictionary on this site http://www.betanews.com/ I don't remember which
one an earlier poster found worked, think it was the first (then). They
don't help with spelling in OE.
