Hey again, after posting a question on if it'll be useful to me or not on
upgrading to x64, i took a risk and did it, i on it atm!
sofar the installation has prove to be MUCH easyer then tryin to upgrade my
xp HOME to SP2 :O the driver issues i have managed to sort out fairly easily,
or so i belive, with drivers is that launch manager doesnt SHOW what it is im
doin with the function key which is a minor issue that dont bother me atall.
The only problem i have that is bothering me is when i try and move a
window, or scroll in a window, it lags and seems to refresh that window
moving up a block of pixels at a time.
does anybody have any idea what is causing this, and how i can fix it?
appart from that minor issue, im enjoying my change to x64 loads! everything
seems fractionaly faster and im able to use the advantages of SP2 which i
couldnt with XP Home SP1 :O lol
help would be much appreciated on my little issue.
many thanks
Si

Sounds like a problem with your video card driver, you might need to obtain
the latest drivers from the manufacturers website for Windows XP
Professional x64 (64-bit)

Ive just tryed that driver 81.98, however while trying to update, it comes up
with the error
"The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatable
with your current hardware. Setup will now exit."
I using the nVidia GForce FX GO5700 on my Acer Aspire 1513 LMi Notebook.
I have tryed both the US and Internation virsions altho i live in the UK.
Sorry, I have never had a need to get a custom driver before and am learning
as i got along with X64!

Yes, the GO cards often are not supported by the standard drivers, in my
experience - try NGOHQ.COM they might have something that fits.
