in WinXP64. Offlining (User R) files or folder will remain in cache despite
unmarking files or folder to be available offline.

only reproducable in XP64. Because of this bug the cache will continue to
grow and grow with files "temporariliy available offline" that cannot be
removed. Even if the original files have been deleted or the server no
longer exists, syncronizing will not remove the files from the CSC.

Can you remove them in safe mode or do a disk clean up?

I just tried it now. It does not help. The files remain. Rebooting doesn't
help either.

I can delete the contents of c:\windows\csc\ but I have no idea which files
I should delete or if I'm going to cause an harm by hacking these files.

Can no one else repro this? I've tryed it on a couple of machines. I don't
think group policy is a factor here either.

help. we really want to switch 64.
thanks.
Ben.
