I've installed winrar and a few other applications. On Win XP 32-bit these
applications added items to the right click menu. But on x64, they aren't
there. is there a way to get these added as its a little frustrating having
to do everything the long way round by opening the app and then use all its
internal menus

i know its not a hugely important issue compared to other things, but its
bugging me

These 32-bit apps are not able to extend the 64-bit shell correctly - they
will need to be updated to a new version.

Hi

On planetamd64.com, you can find a x64 WinRAR Shell Integration Registry
Hack. It's here: http://www.planetamd64.com/index.php?download=172

You have to register to access the download but it's free.

Cheers

There's a workaround -- use the 32-bit version of Windows Explorer. I'm on my
way out the door, so don't have time to find it, but check my x64 column -- I
know I had a link in there or the web cast, I've forgotten which, to the KB.
The problem is that the extensions are 32-bit, and so they can't attach to
the 64 bit Windows Explorer, which is your shell.
