Anyone have a pocket PC that they use with their 64?
I have been having issues with active sync 3.8. I can sync, but can't use
the explore option. Making it hard to access files on my CF and SD cards.

If anyone has found a fix for this, I'd appreciate it.

My pocket pc is a Dell AXIM X50v and it sync's fine on my laptop w/ XP Home.
USB connection on both.
* also, my old ASUS pocket pc has the same issue.
I've checked my firewall settings and they should allow active sync file
sharing.

Open the 32-bit version of Internet Explorer.
Type "My PC" in the address bar.
Your Mobile Device should show up along with the drives.
Click on Mobile Device and explore it freely.
Still don't like ActiveSync 4.0 on account of its lack of network
connectivity.

I must be smoking something.
Went to 32 bit ie and typed 'my pc' and was directed to the msn version of
google with several links.

I did find a bata of AS 4.0 and it did seem to fix this issue.
Haven't tried using it in network fashion though. But I'm only using it as
home user for this device.

Thanks for the 411 though.

Hi DavARei:
"My PC" should be typed in the address bar without the quotes.
If you quote it, then IE believes you want to start a search on that string.
Typing it without the quotes works as it should.
My PC must also be written according to the native language of the windows
version, i.e., if you're running Spanish Windows, then type "Mi PC" (no
quotes).
If you only need USB connectivity, the Activesync 4.0 is the right choice
for you.
Ethernet and wireless users have to stick with Activesync 3.8, like me.
