Yeah, I know it does not run on x64, but does anyone know of a newsgroup for
the beta? It's making me nuts right now, and I have a few questions...

If you were issued a beta id when you got nominated, you should have access
to information concerning access to the newsgroup for Windows OneCare:

Sigh - that's one of the things that's driving me nuts - OneCare hosed a
folder where I stick emails like the one you reference, Andre. Guess I'll
have to email somebody to se if they can re-send. Thanks for the quick
response.

Is there a Guest ID used for Vista?

Vista is not on BetaPlace. It is on microsoft.connect. Vista Beta 1 is a
tech beta by invitation only as you will see when you access
https://connect.microsoft.com/default.aspx. You may be able to
self-nominate on BetaPlace at beta.microsoft.com.

Windows Vista utilizes the new connect.microsoft.com which does not use the
old guest ID system.
