Isn't that up to you? If you run nothing that needs java you =
certainly don't have to install. Personally, my workstation and a =
number of internet sites I need, require it. I know their add-ons only =
work in 32 bit, and haven't seen any evidence that they are developing =
any 64-bit add-ons for Windows.
