I have a 64 Meg Geforce 2 Ti and I am having issues. I know it is a rather
old card, but for some reason I can't get XP 64 to detect my card. I have
dual boot between XP 64 and 32. XP 32 will detect the video card and install
the Microsoft drivers without any issue. Is this a vide card that XP 64 does
not support?

I know I may have to buy a new card to make it work but, I don't want to
purchase another card that may or may not work in XP64. Is there an HCL for
XP64? All I can find is one for XP in general. If someone can help me out I
would really appreciate it. Thanks in Advance.

Hi Mike,

No official HCL list so far but AMD has a partial list at:

http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/DevelopWithAMD/0,,30_2252_869_875%5e10454,00.html?redir=IEGFC07

and this one has hardware and software compatibility tracking lists:

http://www.3dvelocity.com/articles/win64compatibility/win64hardlist.htm

I think I found on planetamd64.com an old beta driver for GeForce. It's from
last year but it's working fine with my GeForce4.
Have a look and you may have a look here also:

Cheers

Hi
You can also force the driver install by choosing the "have disk" option
during the install and then pick a card that is closest to yours.
Worked with my geforce 2 gts, which is even older. Or, you can modify
the driver .inf file, called nv4_disp.inf, located in the directory
where the install program unpacked the files, and add your card to the
list like so:
Add this line:
%NVIDIA_NV15.DEV_0151.1% = nv4, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0151
to the section near the top of the file entitled "[NVIDIA.Mfg]" make
sure that is all on one line, you'll see how the other lines are
formatted. Then add this line:
NVIDIA_NV15.DEV_0151.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce2 Ti"
to the section near the bottom of the inf entitled "[Strings]"
Save the file and then restart the installation, you should see the ti
as one of the choices. This also worked for my geforce 2.
Cheers
