The Windows disc is bootable. You do not need to format the drive before
booting off the disc.
Boot with the CD in the drive...Delete the partition you created, and then
let *THE CD* format the drive in NTFS and it will automatically load the OS.
DO NOT use the disk that came with the hard drive. It is only for older
computers that cannot see the full capacity of today's large hard drive.
The disk overlay technology that it uses in not necessary with your new
computer. You will have to wipe the disk using the Windows CD and let it
format and install the drive.
