Sorry for not posting much in the past few days.
Went for a colonoscopy and it was such a nice experience, I just had to
share.
The worst part is the stuff they make you drink the day before that is the
foulest tasting garbage known to man.
It makes you sit down for the next 12 hours...If you get my drift...to clear
your mind LOL
Clear liquids only all day long...jello, chicken broth, ginger ale,
water...all my favotites YUM

Luckily they put you to sleep in order to save you the embarrassment of
knowing what they are doing behind you.

Mulder and Scully always feared the "Anal Probe"

They found two benign polyps, nothing to worry about except next years
repeat preformance.

Farting afterwards is not only allowed but encouraged.
*(Just like a single guys living room).

Too much info - My test is set for Sept 13. Maybe I'll surprise them and
have a couple of greasy McDonalds burgers the night before !!

Wouldn't do that. After they prep you, get you on the table, take the first
look, someone will say, "that stuff they gave him to drink, didn't work,
prep him for an enema." Insert smiley face. (No pun intended)

I hope the Dr. enjoyed himself.
I have no recollection, having been rendered unconscious by Intravenous
drugs.

Yay. No colon cancer.
Good to hear.
How 'young' are you, if I may ask? is this your first ever screening?

On a serious note, drink lots of water daily, and a high fiber veggie diet
will help you, die from something else!

'a public service announcement.'

'we will now return you to our regular horse pucky'

This is quite a remarkable OT thread...

I was supposed to have something like that tomorrow, having had a
gastroectomy yesterday (whatever its called). That was such a none event -
so easy. CT scan today and what ever its called PIA proc (fnPIA ?) tomorrow.
They started prepping me for fnPIA after the CT scan (neat machines esp from
the inside & don't believe the bull about the stuff they inject, it is so
overstated for squimies...)

The only reason i write is to *implore* people to get unexplained
[abdominal] pain sorted. Have medical insurance bla bla bla. After kicking
up a stink on Saturday, i got action for no cost in the public system here.

I don't wish to be morose, but I am now getting married in 2 weeks, have a
company for sale, & have a lot to do now that i didn't yesterday.

The remarkable thing is that apart from a few moments, this evening has been
oddly one of the happiest in my life.

The only thing I am afraid of now is farting in my sleep...

Look after yourselves.

Regards...
