I have xp pro already installed on my pc, and I am trying to put on the IME
for Japanese but it is asking for my cd rom for xp which I don't have. Is
there any way of loading up the Japanese IME when one does not have the CD
for windows xp. Dell does not give you the cd roms. It is really frustrating
because all the other languages are there except the 3 east asian ones,
Japanese, Korean , and Chinese. Thanks

You need it.

It needs to install the files to support east asian languages which are not
installed by default. Is there an i386 directoy on your c: drive?
