I believe it does.
I have tested ffdshow x64 with WMP 64-bit playing Xvid encoded videos (not
Divx) with no problems.
ffdshow x64 latest build, dated July 22nd., can be downloaded from here

For WMP 32-bit, ffdshow x86 can be downloaded from here:
