Merry Christmas all,
Please can anyone help?
Got PC at Christmas , when trying to load software for Asus 256MB N6200
Turbo Graphics the PC error is CD Blocked, then, Cannot start kernel mode
driver service.
I'm running XP pro x64.
Please stop me going mad as I just cannot put together a solution, mainly
because I don't have the Knowledge or confidence.
Help restore my kids belief in me as the promised PC ain't working.
Thank you in advance.

Do note, that not always is the stuff on the support CD compatible with x64.
I am not familiar with the Asus, but I think you should check the graphics
driver - if it is nVidia, it's probably not current anyway since they update
frequently. All drivers have to be 64bit, or the machine will not run!

Tony. . .

It is nVidia, I'll try that.

Here's where you should go and get your drivers
http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.windows.64bit.general&cat=en_US_01615a7c-7a5a-4cbe-9199-4e2a2d8b40e1&lang=en&cr=US&mid=e61a2dc9-b641-4fc5-9e50-a00ec5b51856
You'll find English as well as International versions.
