I was stupid enough to run the Bitlocker preparation tool and it create an
S: drive, however my laptop doesn't have a TPM chip, so it useless to turn
it on. How do I reverse the procedure, which remove drive S: and put the
boot system back to drive C:

I did the same mistake. Some say that one can use a USB key as TPM
device but I haven't tried.

I used a Complete System Restore, which I fortunately made before
running Bitlocker.

Actually, you CAN use bitlocker - I have it running on one laptop now
without a TPM, and will be adding it to the Ferrari shortly. You need to do
a registry change, and then you need a USB key to hold the encryption key.
When you boot (or restart from hibernate) you'll need to have that USB key
available.

For details on how to do it, see my blog post:

Canixs:
BitLocker will function properly without a TPM chip. Follow scenario 3
in the BitLocker step-by-step guide located at
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsvista/aa905089.aspx. Have a great
day.
