Downloaded. Downloading the Vista beta now. When I get done, all this goes
in a VM and then I'll test. I don't run Office betas in my real machine!

I am running both now, nothing really seems that different from 5381 and
Office 2007 TR. CR, yes its being bombarded right now, I was lucky enough to
get the Office Plus edition. :)

tells me that my E-Mail is not valid, but it's the same one that I used to

A day after confirming a delay of Windows Vista until 2007, Microsoft late
Thursday said there would be a similar delay in the launch of Office 2007.

While the code for the productivity suite is expected to be completed this
year, a consumer launch will occur in conjunction with Windows Vista,
expected in January. Members of Microsoft's Volume Licensing Program would
be able to get Office code in October, however, a month ahead of Vista's

I just installed the Office 2007 beta without any problems
and activation was successful. I disabled "desktop search" because there
isn't a 64-bit version available yet. I don't use Outlook or Outlook Express
for hotmail because I don't have KB904942 installed. The reason that I don't
have KB904942 installed is because with it installed with IE7B2 I was having
an IE shutdown when using multiple tabs or windows open in the background at
the same time. I know that running multiple beta's at the same time can
cause oddities. What I like so far is the new look and the tips sidebar
doesn't automatically open. So far no errors other than my poorer spelling
when I'm tired, thankfully I have "spell-check".
