Apologies if this question has been answered previously - I have just bought
a Proliant DL380 G5 and want to install Windows Server 2003 R2 64-bit OS,
join the existing domain, which has a 32-bit DC running R2. Then I want to
dcpromo the new server.
Are there any gotchas I should be aware of? Will x64 & x32 DC's co-exist
happily? I've seen some comments elsewhere about needing to run adprep from
CD2, but is that only if you have an existing non-R2 DC?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

They can happily co-exist. You would only have to do an adprep if you
weren't already at the R2 level, and you are.
