Howdy Folks
Does anyone know if there are X64 drivers for the Hp Cp-1700D printer? I'm
really annoined that Hp seem to be dragging their feet on this, they had
plenty of time to have released something by now. I am thinking that if
something does not happen soon that I will NEVER buy another HP product
again this was my fourth Hp printer which does A3 and duplexing.

Thank you.

If you didn't find one on the HP web site, then there is about a 99.99%
chance that one does not exist.

Did you try www.PlanetAMD.com to see if there were any posts about such
a printer?

If you want to have some influence, then let HP know how annoyed you
are. HP is the one that can do something about writing the driver, not
this newsgroup.

Rick:
That would be www.planetamd64.com.
Latest HP drivers I downloaded from there were version 5.65.0.12 (pre-beta).
I have them working with my inkjet HP 5650 with no problems.

You're right, Carlos. How come the stupid computer never does what you
want it to do? It seems to only do what you specifically tell it to do!

Those latest drivers are dated september 2005 so it seems hp has done
nothing in 6 months
were some other manufacturers have already released drivers.
Looks like I will have to buy another printer, but sure is NO way going to
be a HP.
